Rimes 'responds' to cheating rumours

LeAnn Rimes has posted a message on her website amid rumours that she is having an affair with married actor Eddie Cibrian, her co-star in upcoming TV movie Northern Lights.

The 'Can't Fight The Moonlight' singer, who has been married to dancer Dean Sheremet for seven years, was caught on a security camera with Cibrian, according to US Weekly.

The pair were allegedly spotted holding hands and kissing at a restaurant on March 7. The publication claims that they also met for a "three-hour tryst" at the Malibu Beach Inn on March 14.

Although representatives for both stars declined to comment, Rimes wrote on her website today: "This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones, but I appreciate all your continued support.

"I would like to assure all of you that this is a place for you to hear things directly from me and as you all know, not everything in our lives is always black and white."

Meanwhile, Sheremet reportedly wrote on his Twitter blog: "I love my wife!!!"
