Lange hospitalised after household fall

Jessica Lange has been hospitalised after falling down steps at her Minnesota home, the BBC reports.

The Oscar-winning actress sustained a broken collarbone, along with bruised ribs and cuts to her face in the incident.

Her spokesperson said that she is expected to make a full recovery and hopes to be released from medical care "imminently".

The 59-year-old, whose long-term partner is actor Sam Shepard, won Academy Awards for her appearances in Tootsie and Blue Sky. She is due to appear with Drew Barrymore in HBO drama Grey Gardens next month.
