Chiles dismisses Bleakley romance rumours

Adrian Chiles has refuted claims that he is involved in a romance with his One Show co-presenter Christine Bleakley.

Chiles, 41, revealed that the pair had simple shared kebabs when they were seen meeting at a West London flat last summer, although he did accept that the rendezvous may have appeared unusual.

The BBC presenter told The Times: "It looked suspicious but it was totally innocent. Rather sweetly in the reporting of that they were absolutely accurate in the timings.

"If they had said we had got in at 8pm and left at 3am in the morning, we could not have disproved it, but we were in there for 52 minutes with two mixed kebabs. And if anything else was going on, would we have bothered with the mixed kebabs?

"As anyone I grew up with would tell you, if anyone was capable of getting Britain's most desirable woman into an empty property and do nothing but eat kebabs, I am that man."

Bleakley, 29, and her entrepreneur boyfriend Mark Beirne ended their three-year relationship in January. While a spokesperson for Bleakley said that no-one else was involved, a friend of Beirne's told the News Of The World that Chiles had become "the third person" in the relationship.
