Kaiser Chiefs star 'wants TV career'

Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson has decided that he wants to launch a TV career, according to a report.

The singer does not want to return to music for at least two years after the band's third album Off With Their Heads received mixed reviews, The Sun claims.

A source told the newspaper: "He's really good on telly. Lots of people have commented on his appearances on music shows and think he comes across well.

"He's funny and has a good manner. They want to give the band breathing space and I think he could do really well on music or youth TV."

The news follows rumours that the band were "taking time to reflect" following the disappointing performance of Off With Their Heads.
