Scherzinger, Kid Rock for Wrestlemania

Nicole Scherzinger and Kid Rock have been confirmed to perform at this year's Wrestlemania event.

According to People, the Pussycat Doll will open the ceremony with 'America The Beautiful', while Kid Rock will later perform a medley of his greatest hits, including 'Cowboy', 'Rock N Roll Jesus' and 'So Hott'.

Next month's pay-per-view event will mark the 25th anniversary of the annual wrestling showdown. Previous musicians to have performed on the night include Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and Ashanti.

Earlier this month, it was confirmed that The Wrestler star Mickey Rourke would be making an appearance, although the extent of his involvement has not been announced.

Wrestlemania 25 will be broadcast live from the Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas on April 5.
