Lawyers are giving the closing arguments in the Wall Of Sound producer's retrial for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson, Reuters reports
Clarkson died of a single gunshot wound to the mouth at Spector's home in 2003.
Prosecutor Truc Do said: "When he's ignited, he always does the same thing - he grabs a gun.
"In every single one of these incidents, Mr. Spector demonstrates conscious disregard for human life... Her death was a death waiting to happen in his world."
Closing statements from both sides could continue until Wednesday, when the jury will retire to consider a verdict.
Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler has said that they may choose a verdict of involuntary manslaughter, an option not open to the deadlocked jurors in the first trial.
