Lavigne, Whibley 'not having problems'

Tabloid reports that Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley are having relationship problems have been dismissed.

According to the New York Daily News, the couple fought after Lavigne "kept downing vodka" at a Los Angeles nightclub.

However, a new source has denied the allegations insisting that the pop singer, 24, and the Sum 41 frontman are still happy together.

"Avril had a surprise BBQ at the house for him and 20 friends for his birthday [at the weekend]," an insider told Us Weekly.

"They then rented a limo and went to [L.A. club] MyHouse...They were laughing and cuddling all night."
