Zac Efron has admitted that he was "not that smooth" at school, insisting that he had a normal experience as a student.
Speaking at last night's premiere of 17 Again in Leicester Square, the actor revealed that he was nothing like some of the suave characters he plays.
"I wasn't that smooth. I had the same high school experience as everyone else did," he explained. "I didn't really fall into [acting] until I was about 18."
When asked what he would do if he could return to being 17, he replied: "I wouldn't take high school so seriously. There's a lot ahead."
17 Again opens in the UK on April 10.
