Bruce Willis reportedly handpicked his future wife to star in 2007 movie Perfect Stranger.

The actor was involved in casting for the movie and chose new bride Emma Heming to play his on screen lover, according to New York gossip column Page Six.

"He personally went through head shots and when the girls were called in to 'read', he was there in the meeting. It was odd for the star of a movie to do so, but at the time he was single and I guess he needed a date," said a source.

Willis was already dating Tamara Feldman, a model with whom he shared a sex scene in the movie, and later began seeing both women. However, he eventually chose to be with Heming, the source said.

The couple were married at his home on Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos Islands on Saturday. Guests included the actor’s ex-wife Demi Moore and her current husband Ashton Kutcher, as well as Willis and Moore’s daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallullah Belle.
