Timberlake laughs off engagement rumours

Justin Timberlake has laughed off speculation that he is planning to wed girlfriend Jessica Biel.

Appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show, the singer denied reports that he had proposed to Biel after attending a friend's wedding in Italy last year.

"I'm not engaged," he insisted. "If she's engaged, we have a problem."

When asked about the most romantic thing that he had done for Biel, he joked "pantyhose and a leotard", in reference to his skit on Saturday Night Live when he dressed as one of Beyoncé's backing dancers.

Discussing the actress's influence on his clothing line William Rast, he added: "She's obviously a huge muse for me. And with the designers too."

Timberlake and Biel, who have been dating since 2007, recently bought an apartment together in New York.
