Spelling recently put her $150 million dollar mansion on the market, but told People.com that she would not sell the lavish home if there were some reconciliation between mother and daughter, which could lead to her being a doting grandmother.
"If I had any hope that I would have a relationship with my grandchildren I would never sell this house," she said. "I've fantasised for years about a wonderful playhouse on the grounds for children.
"Someday my grandchildren will know who I am because of the trust funds I've set up, but I would like to be part of their lives now."
As it stands, the relationship between the grandmother, her grandchildren and daughter is non-existent.
"I don't see Tori and Dean anymore," the 63-year-old stated. "I used to see Liam, but no longer. And I've never met Stella."
Candy, who was married to producer Aaron Spelling for 37 years until his death in 2007, says she is unsure why her daughter is upset with her.
"I've tried to talk to her, but that doesn't work. She may not even know why she's angry," she said.
Spelling's memoir, Stories From Candyland, is published tomorrow.
