Former 'Buffy' star welcomes first child

Former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Alyson Hannigan has given birth to her first child, reports People.

The actress, who played Willow Rosenberg in the cult show, welcomed daughter Satyana with husband Alexis Denisof in Los Angeles on March 24.

"They're very excited, and mum and baby are doing great," said a representative for the couple.

Hannigan and Denisof, who met on the set of Buffy ten years ago, married in California in 2003. They have since appeared together in CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
