Hartnett hospitalised with stomach pains

Josh Hartnett has been admitted to hospital in Los Angeles after suffering from severe abdominal pains.

The 30 Days Of Night star was taken by ambulance from Hollywood's Chateau Marmont Hotel to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre at around 1.45am on Monday.

In a statement, his publicist said: "Josh Hartnett walked into an ambulance...suffering from a flare-up of a gastrointestinal problem that plagued him while he was starring in the West End of London during the production of Rain Man."

She added: "He is under observation, but is resting comfortably."

According to BBC News, the actor was briefly diagnosed in London with the same condition last November.
