Witherspoon: 'I'll rap with Phoenix'

Reese Witherspoon has said that she is willing to do a rap duet with her Walk The Line co-star Joaquin Phoenix.

The Monsters Vs. Aliens actress, who won an Oscar for her role as Johnny Cash's second wife June Carter in the biopic, told Empire: "Sure, he's great. He's very musical obviously. He knows what he's doing."

When asked if she is following Phoenix's rap performances, Witherspoon replied: "I'm not following his rap career but I'm sure his album, whenever it hits the stores, whenever it 'drops', I'm going to go pick it up."

Phoenix announced last October that he was quitting acting to concentrate on music. His final film, Two Lovers, is in cinemas now.
