Speaking to Page Six, Barron Hilton admitted that he is hoping to become "an international singer-songwriter" and had already started recording tracks at his Manhattan apartment.
"I'm sick of all the Hilton stuff, where all anyone cared about was whether I was doing coke in the bathroom or how many [people] I was sleeping with. I'm done with partying and travelling. It's time to get this started," he said.
While the 19-year-old has not been signed to a label, he has begun developing a reality show with media company Viacom.
"It's gonna be like The Hills, but real. This is gonna show the meetings, the production side, the recording side," he explained.
"I just want people to say, 'Wow, this song really moved me, or made me cry'."
His older sister made her singing debut with 2006 LP Paris, which included UK top five single 'Stars Are Blind'.
