Cole denies plans to renew wedding vows

Cheryl Cole has denied reports that she is preparing to renew her wedding vows with husband Ashley.

According to The Sun, Cole was planning to reaffirm her marriage to the Chelsea and England star at the Dubai beach where he proposed four years ago.

Speaking to Heatworld, a representative for the X Factor judge said: "It's absolute rubbish. It's not true that they're planning to renew their vows."

The Coles were first rumoured to be renewing their vows last November, prompting the singer to reportedly tell a friend: "Why the hell would I renew my vows when I only got married a couple of years ago? It's ridiculous. It's as tacky as hell."

The couple, who began dating in September 2004, wed in a lavish £500,000 ceremony at Wrotham Park in July 2006.
