According to The AP, 49-year-old William Brown managed to gain access to the Dreamgirls star's penthouse at the AKA Hotel on March 20 after claiming to be Beyoncé's music producer.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, Foxx said: "I can’t talk about it, because we’re still dealing with it on the legal side. But I’m good now. Shout out to Philadelphia and the mayor and everybody else to make sure it’s good.”
Foxx reportedly managed to overpower the intruder and closed the door on him, however Brown was arrested by police a few days later after being spotted back on hotel property.
He has been charged with stalking and other charges and is being held in lieu of a $250,000 bail. A court date has been set for April 7.
