Campbell blasts fashion industry 'racism'

The supermodel said that she has to work twice as hard to be treated equally in an industry still affected by racism, reports AFP.
"You know, the American President may be black, but as a black woman, I am still an exception in this business," she told Germany's Glamour magazine.
"I always have to work harder to be treated equally. In the past, there were more opportunities for black models but the trend towards blond women has again become extreme. In magazines, on the catwalk, I see blond, blue-eyed models everywhere."
London-born Campbell was among celebrity guests to attend a special dinner with world leaders held in London this week as part of the G20 summit.
