Coolio pleads not guilty to drugs charge

Coolio has reportedly denied being in possession of cocaine at Los Angeles airport last month.

The rapper, real name Artis Leon Ivey, was arrested on March 6 after police searched his luggage and allegedly found the narcotic.

Coolio, 45, pleaded not guilty to a felony count of drug possession and misdemeanor charges of possession of a smoking device and battery at a Los Angeles courtroom earlier today, reports People.

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant is alleged to have grabbed a luggage screener's arm to prevent the search. He is next scheduled to appear in court on April 20.
