Fawcett hospitalised as cancer remains

Farrah Fawcett has reportedly been hospitalised in Los Angeles as her battle with cancer continues.

The 62-year-old was diagnosed with the disease in 2006 and was given the all-clear a year later following treatment.

In a statement at the time she said: "This is an extraordinarily happy day for me and my family. I hope that my news might offer some level of inspiration to others who unfortunately must continue to fight the disease."

However, the cancer returned in 2007 and Radaronline says that the former Charlie's Angels star is now in a critical but stable condition.
