Fawcett's producer: 'Farrah has hope'

The former Charlie's Angel star was hospitalised at the weekend and was reported to be in a critical condition.
However, producer Craig Nevius said that Fawcett was going against her usual stance of ignoring "false or exaggerated stories that originate in tabloid-style reports" out of respect to her fans and other cancer patients who had followed her story in the "hope that there is hope".
"Tonight, Farrah has hope, and she hopes that others will continue to hold onto theirs," he said in a statement, adding that Fawcett is expected to return home in a few days.
Fawcett was first diagnosed with colorectal cancer in September 2006 and was given the all-clear a year later following treatment. The disease returned in 2007.
