Gareth Gates becomes a father

Gareth Gates and his wife Suzanne have reportedly welcomed a daughter.

The 24-year-old singer is now the proud father of Missy, who was born this morning weighing 7lb 8oz.

According to ITN, Gates said: "We are so excited, Missy is beautiful and we can't wait to spend time together as a family."

The former Pop Idol contestant is starring in the West End production of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
