Coleen Rooney confirms first pregnancy

Coleen Rooney has confirmed speculation that she is expecting her first child with footballer husband Wayne.

Writing in her OK! column, the TV presenter admitted that the pregnancy was "something we both wanted", adding that the couple feel "incredibly lucky and happy".

"It's true I'm pregnant! It's the most brilliant news and, along with marrying Wayne, the best thing that's ever happened to me," she wrote.

Rooney, who married the England and Manchester United star last year, added: "We really don't mind [about the sex] as long as he or she is healthy and grows up happy."
