AFP photographer Yuri Cortes and Rolando Aviles, from the Costa Rican publication Al Dia, claimed that they were targeted by security guards outside the supermodel's home when they refused to give up their camera equipment. No-one was injured.
Speaking to People, the country's Judicial Investigation Agency confirmed that it would investigate after an official complaint was filed in relation to the alleged shooting, but suggested that it was unlikely that the celebrity couple would be held responsible.
Earlier this week, a representative for Brady insisted that the wedding party had not been aware of the incident.
Around 50 guests are thought to have attended the couple's second nuptials in Santa Teresa. They first tied the knot at a secret ceremony in California in February.
