The couple had a short relationship prior to her engagement and the former Spice Girl recently bought House a silver chain to wear during a marathon in Morocco, the London Lite reports.
A source said: "It is a torrid race and Geri wanted Nick to have something that would make him think of her to spur him on.
"The silver chain shows she still has feelings for Nick and how quickly she seems to have moved on from Fabrizio."
They added: "She remained close to Nick throughout her engagement, and no-one is surprised to see them spending time together again.
"He is due back this week and Geri has planned a celebration for him at her house."
Last month, it was claimed that Halliwell had decided to take a year off from dating following her recent break-up.
