Lowe claims victory in nanny case

A judge ruled that a contract at the core of the case was legally binding, according to WENN.
The actor and his wife Sheryl began legal proceedings in April 2008 against Laura Boyce, who worked for the couple in 2007.
She was fired after the pair alleged the nanny broke a confidentiality agreement and betrayed personal details about their private lives.
Boyce filed a countersuit seeking reimbursement for unpaid wages and wrongful termination, and made other accusations of being sexually harassed by Lowe’s wife.
She has also told the court her right to freedom of speech was violated due to the confidentiality agreement, which made the document invalid.
On Tuesday, a judge threw her claim out of court.
The Brothers & Sisters star and his spouse are also suing two other ex-employees and maintain they are the victims of an extortion plot headed up by another former nanny, Jessica Gibson.
