CNN anchor Anderson Cooper has told a New York newspaper that he "wasn't surprised" by anything in the book where his mother - Gloria Vanderbilt - revealed parts of her love life.
In It Seemed Important at the Time, Vanderbilt intimates details on her four marriages and other affairs. The New York Daily News reports that the book contains info on her flings with Marlon Brando, Frank Sinatra and even CBS founder Bill Paley.
Cooper told the newspaper: "My mom and I have always been very open with each other. I wasn't surprised by anything in the book. I thought it was a terrific read. It's like an older Sex and the City. Smart, funny and all about love - finding it, losing it, keeping it."
