Cox 'crushed by Aniston rejection'

Courteney Cox is devastated that former Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston has refused to appear in her new sitcom Cougar Town, it has been claimed.

The pair have "barely spoken" in recent weeks, with Aniston choosing to spend more time with W star Elizabeth Banks, EntertainmentWise reports.

A source told Globe: "The pilot meant the world to Courteney as she's not only starring but is also an executive producer.

"She thought Jen's star power would help sell the pilot as a series. Courteney's crushed."

Last month, it emerged that Josh Hopkins and Ian Gomez had joined Cox in the cast of Cougar Town.
