Stephen Fry: 'I want a gay yoking!'

Stephen Fry has spoken out about gay marriage, saying that the specific wording used is irrelevant.

The presenter, who has been with his partner Daniel Cohen for over ten years, admitted that he favours a more interesting term than "marriage".

"If people want to reserve marriage for a man-woman thing then fine, call it something else," he told PA.

"A bonding, a uniting, a legal yoking - that's fine. Yoking is a lovely word. Yoked together!"

Fry has previously objected to straight actors being labelled "brave" when they take on the role of gay characters.
