Ross: 'I'll rule the world with Brand'

Jonathan Ross has said that he would love to do another show with Russell Brand and that the pair could "rule the world" together.

The broadcaster was speaking at the premiere of the new Star Trek movie days after Brand phoned him during his one-off TalkSport radio show with Noel Gallagher.

Ross said: "'I was asleep when he called me. [My wife] Jane said, 'Who is that?' And I said, 'It's Russ'. She said, 'Don't! Don't!' But by that time it was too late. Hopefully we've healed the hurt.

"It was great fun. One day I want to do a big show with him and we will rule the world together."

Sunday's show was the first time that Ross and Brand have appeared on the airwaves together since the the pair controversially left crude messages on actor Andrew Sachs's answerphone last year.
