Palmer-Tomkinson: 'I frighten men away'

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has suggested that she frightens off potential boyfriends because of her high profile and independence.

The It girl also told Metro that she "couldn't give a damn" about getting married.

Tomkinson said: "Men find me really frightening. I am very independent. People think I am much more higher maintenance than I am. Men get scared off by an independent, high-profile woman.

"I am really variable in my love life. Like Quality Streets. Coffee flavoured, long and thin, the one with the gold wrapper, the one everyone leaves behind."

Palmer-Tomkinson recently criticised drug rehabilitation centres in the UK after she eventually got off drugs at the Meadows clinic in Arizona.
