Tyson: 'Chris Brown is just a baby'

Mike Tyson has described Chris Brown as "just a little baby" following his arrest for allegedly assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna earlier this year.

The R&B star, 19, has pleaded not guilty to felony charges of assault and making criminal threats in relation to an alleged altercation that took place in the early hours of February 8.

Speaking to MTV News, the former heavyweight champion said: "It's none of my business, but you know what I say about that? I understand the situation. I understand passion with young kids. My personal opinion about that is, he's just a baby.

"He's just a little baby that don't know how to handle his emotions when it comes to a woman. And he probably hears this and thinks, 'I know how to handle my emotions' - we all think we do. But the fact [is], you look at this person and you might be crazy in love, but we don't know how to handle those feelings."

Brown's preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 29, although lawyers for Rihanna have claimed that she is hoping to reach a settlement in order to avoid a trial.
