Thurman quashes marriage rumours

Uma Thurman has quashed rumours that she secretly wed over the weekend.

The actress denied that she and fiancé Arpad Busson exchanged vows after eloping to the Bahamian island of Eleuthera last Saturday, E! reports.

The denial is the second that the Kill Bill star has been forced to issue following speculation that she and the Swiss financier were married in New York last July, one month after he proposed to her.

Thurman's spokesman Stephen Huvane said: "Uma did not get married."

The star has previously divorced actors Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke, while Busson has dated Elle Macpherson.
