Culkin: 'It’s been rough since Dakota's death'

Kieran Culkin has said that it has been difficult dealing with his sister’s sudden death.

Culkin’s 29-year-old sister Dakota was hit by a car in Los Angeles in December 2008.

Since the tragedy, Culkin said that he has invested the majority of his time into his acting career, despite thoughts of giving up life in the spotlight to cope with his grief.

The Lymelife star told Interview magazine: "It’s been a rough couple of months. I won’t speak for anyone else, but I’m doing okay.

"That’s the point of doing this interview and stuff. For a little while there, I wasn’t going to do any press. I wasn’t going to do Sundance. This was all a sort of getting-out-of-bed-and-start-walking thing."
