Lohan 'had no idea Ronson romance over'

Lindsay Lohan has admitted that she had no idea that her romance with Samantha Ronson was ending, insisting that the celebrity DJ just "disappeared".

Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actress opened up about her split with former girlfriend Ronson, explaining that she "had no idea what was going on".

"I just hadn’t seen her in like, a week. She like, disappeared," she said, adding that reports of Ronson's family seeking a restraining order against her "came out of nowhere".

"I was like, 'I don’t understand' - it came out of nowhere. I’ve supported Charlotte [Ronson] and I’ve never done anything for people to assume I’m dangerous...That whole night was just really tough."

Lohan also denied speculation that infidelity was to blame for the split, saying: "I don't believe in cheating on someone. I watched my father do that to my mother my entire life so I really don’t."

However, the Mean Girls star claimed that the break-up had "been really good for me", adding that she was now back on speaking terms with Ronson.

"When people are together so much, it gets really difficult and you forget who you are because you’re more concerned about being with the other person...I thought it would be so much harder and it hasn’t been."
