Billy Ray Cyrus has said that he will keep making music until the day he dies.

However, the 'Achy Breaky Heart' country singer, 47, joked that because of his fast-paced life he may not live beyond another 20 years.

Asked whether he will be singing when he is in his 60s, Cyrus told GMTV: "I don't know, probably not - not at this pace anyway. I think in 15, 20 years' time I'm going to be pushing daisies.

"But I will keep making music until the day I die."

Cyrus released his eleventh studio album Back To Tennessee earlier this month.

Meanwhile, the Grammy award winner also spoke out about working with his daughter Miley on the Disney Hannah Montana franchise.

"I don't know if you've ever seen her on stage but she's just electrifying," he said. "So as a daddy I go, 'Wow man', and as a professional I go, 'Double wow!'

"[She is] an amazing young lady.'
