The acting couple announced their engagement in February, having met on the set of Evening.
Friend Mamie Gummer, who co-starred with the pair on the film, told People that the bride-to-be is "calm and excited" about her upcoming marriage.
The actress said that it was a privilege to watch the couple meet and fall in love on the 2007 feature, explaining: "I was there when it was happening and it's something that I will never forget."
Gummer, who will be a bridesmaid at the ceremony, said that she was honoured and delighted to be taking part, calling Danes and Dancy a "perfect couple".
