Stiller: 'I'm not Mr Funny Guy'

Ben Stiller has praised the comic genius of Ricky Gervais ahead of their forthcoming movie Night At The Museum 2.

Stiller, named the third most powerful actor in Hollywood, insisted that he can't crack a joke like Robin Williams nor is he naturally funny like Gervais.

However, he told The Mail On Sunday that the key to his on-screen success is that he is "willing to look silly".

"I'm not Mr Funny Guy. Robin Williams is funny and outgoing. That's not me. I can't tell a joke," he claimed, adding of Gervais: "Ricky and I can't work together, as we just laugh and laugh."

The film, which opens in the UK on May 22, reunites Stiller, Williams, Gervais, Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan and Dick Van Dyke with Amy Adams and Hank Azaria joining the cast.
