Beyoncé: 'I'm not ready to start a family'

Beyoncé has dismissed speculation that she is ready to start a family with husband Jay-Z.

The Obsessed star, who tied the knot last April, admitted to MTV News that playing a mother in the upcoming thriller has not made her broody.

"Well, I think I definitely want to be a mother one day, and I will be - God willing - but not really [right now]. I didn't really get the little urge [from playing a mum]. It was more like, 'God, this is a lot of work'," she explained.

The 27-year-old recently revealed that she would love to "have some normalcy and a regular schedule" in the future.
