Danny Dyer vows to get in shape

Danny Dyer has admitted that he is desperate to tone up after growing concerned about his appearance.

The actor has started to notice the effects of bad eating habits in recent years and now worries about the possible impact on his career.

"I'm 32 this year and I'm looking down at my belly now," Dyer told Celebs On Sunday magazine. "I used to be able to eat anything I wanted - like four chocolate eclairs while watching telly or something - but it's catching up with me now.

"The gym's boring, but I'm gonna have to go. I want to tone up. Not for birds - I'm happy with my missus Jo - but to get work."

Dyer recently turned down a role in EastEnders following discussions with the BBC soap's producers.
