Lady GaGa: "I really am a lady"

Lady GaGa has dismissed speculation about her private life by insisting: "I really am a lady!"

The 'Poker Face' singer, who recently conceded that sometimes she looks like a transvestite, claimed that underneath the facade she was a "deeply moral" individual.

"I'm not quite as outrageous as I look - underneath all this I am deeply moral and actually a really nice girl," she told More!.

"I look so wild but I'm not. In the bedroom I like to wear pearls around my neck - I really am a lady!"

The 23-year-old added that her softer side clashed with the sort of man she was naturally attracted to, citing heavy metal star Marilyn Manson as her ideal type.

"I have a thing about Marilyn Manson. I think he's amazing. I just have this weakness for leather, long hair and a dark side. Maybe that's not such a good thing," she said.

"I have a problem in that I always go for wild boys. I like long hair, leather, I like a bad boy. I go for these guys but it never ends well."

GaGa recently admitted that she signed a fan's manhood at a meet-and-greet session.
