Singer Beyonce Knowles has reportedly spent almost £300,000 on a romantic getaway with her fiancé Jay-Z.

The pair spent four days in the French resort of St Tropez, following reports that they have decided to put their wedding on hold, due to Beyonce's busy schedule.

Beyonce apparently hired a yacht for £10,000 a day during the break, as well as a private jet for £10,000 an hour.

The holiday came to an end yesterday. Regarding the couple's future plans, a friend revealed, "Beyonce is very much in love and wants to make the ultimate commitment to Jay-Z by marrying him.

But it will have to wait because she's snowed under with recording and beginning to think about the new movie."
