The country star penned the track 'Forever And Always' for her second LP Fearless following her split with Jonas last year.
Speaking to Seventeen, Jonas described the song as "flattering", adding: "It's always nice to hear their side of the story."
The 19-year-old singer parted ways with Swift last October. She later accused him of ending their relationship over the phone and cheating on her with his current love Camilla Belle, an allegation that he denied.
Swift, also 19, recently claimed that she had no regrets about writing the song, saying: "Writing songs about people is the only way I know how to do things."
