Alley: 'I want Obama's arms'

Kirstie Alley has admitted that she would like to have arms like First Lady Michelle Obama.

The former Cheers star, 58, made the revelation during an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show, according to People.

"We see what we want," Alley said. "Don't you look around and see what you want to look like? I'm, like, 'Look, Michelle Obama's guns. I could have those arms'. I don't know about the legs."

The former Jenny Craig spokesperson has called her weight gain since she cut back on her diet a "big mistake" and confirmed that she plans to trim down again.

Last February, Alley announced that she would begin her own weight-loss programme business.

"In a way it's sort of... crazy. We're in the middle of a recession, and I decide, yes, I'm going to create my own business," she said. "I'm going to lose 80 pounds… I'm going to be in a bikini again."
