Fawcett's son denies drugs charges

Redmond O’Neal has pleaded not guilty to charges of felony heroin possession.

The son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal made the plea before a judge in a Santa Clarita, California courtroom on Wednesday, People reports.

The 24-year-old will remain in custody and most likely enter an intense drug-treatment programme after another hearing to be held later today.

O’Neal was arrested on April 4 in a jail parking lot. Last weekend, he was granted permission to visit his ailing mother, 62, who is battling cancer.
