Miley Cyrus: 'Perez Hilton is mean'

Miley Cyrus has hit out at celebrity blogger Perez Hilton for using hurtful comments against her on his website.

The Hannah Montana star told the Daily Mail that she would rather be in her position than Hilton's.

Speaking about his comments, Cyrus said: "That can be painful. That's just a mean person. I don't know how old he is, but taking it out on me is a little strange. It's like going back to high school.

"I get to travel and go to London and Paris, while this person sits by the computer writing mean things about me. I'd rather be the one travelling."

The actress added that it was "hard growing up in the spotlight" but said that having her parents close to her helped her when she made mistakes.
