Amelle Berrabah is reportedly terrified after receiving death threats from her ex-boyfriend Freddie Fuller's family.

The Sugababes singer has allegedly refused to turn on her phone after being sent a message reading: "You're going to get it."

The 25-year-old star's family are said to have been given police protection after claiming that they were being followed.

Last Sunday, Berrabah's sister Zakiya was beaten up by a gang of women in Aldershot, Hampshire, believed to be relatives of Fuller.

"It was terrifying. One woman got out of the car and allegedly shouted, 'No-one drops Freddie', and then started laying into Zakiya," Music-News quotes an onlooker as saying.

"Zakiya was on the floor being kicked and punched by the women. One screamed, 'Tell your family to remember this face!'"

A statement from Hampshire police reads: "We were called following allegations of assault shortly after 7pm on Sunday evening to the Total garage on the High Street in Aldershot. The incident involved a group of women and enquires are ongoing."

Fuller is not understood to have been involved in the incident.

According to the report, Berrabah's mother has now vowed to leave the area after seeing her daughter Zakiya's bruised and bloodied face.
