Mel B is to host a New Year's Eve party - but hasn't invited her former Spice Girls bandmembers Victoria Beckham or Geri Halliwell.
A source close to Mel revealed, "She originally wanted to host the party to see in the New Year with her nearest and dearest. She has a hunch that 2005 will be a fantastic time for her.
"But as far as showbiz pals go, there are only Baby and Sporty Spice who are on the list. Plus a few of her pals she met through starring in the stage show Rent and telly joker Avid Merrion.
"The party will feature large ice statues and a live jazz band to add the sort of ambience Mel wants."
Mel's party will take place at her LA home.
