Kerry Katona: 'Fame is so fickle'

Kerry Katona has announced that she feels disillusioned with the celebrity lifestyle.

The reality TV star admitted that the behaviour of Katie Price and her former Atomic Kitten bandmate Natasha Hamilton caused her to rethink her life in the spotlight.

"It's so fickle. Atomic Kitten was the best time of my life, but now the girls don't even acknowledge me when we see each other," New! magazine quotes Katona as saying.

"Natasha was bridesmaid at my wedding to Brian [McFadden], but I didn't even get an invite to hers!

"I don't go to celeb parties and I don't have celebrity friends. I talk to Coleen [Nolan] because we do the Iceland adverts together, but that's it. Fame is so false. I hadn't even spoken to Katie Price in a year when she texted me and asked me to be her bridesmaid! Everyone is up their own ass."

Katona recently vowed to accept a supermarket job if she runs out of money.
