The Absolutely Fabulous actress held talks with Brown at the House of Commons this afternoon at 2.30pm.
Lumley has been fronting a campaign to secure settlement rights for veteran Gurkhas in Britain. Some 36,000 Nepalese soldiers who served in the British Army have been denied UK residency because they left before 1997.
Brown's government suffered a defeat in the Commons last week on its policy of restricting the right of many former Gurkhas to settle in the UK.
